Itinerary
| Day 1 | SINGAPORE – MUNICH | Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Munich, the buzzing Bavarian capital well-known for its charm.
| | Day 2 | MUNICH | Welcome to Munich, Germany! Enter the city through the Medieval Gates, the first of the city’s fortifications. Enjoy the bustle of the Viktualienmarkt, an open air market full of little stores selling wursts, fruits, flowers & cheese. Admire the spires of the Gothic style City Hall, onion-shaped domes of the Frauenkirche and the unique architecture of the Olympic Park. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time at leisure.(Lunch)
| | Day 3 | MUNICH – PRIEN– SALZBURG | Drive to Prien, nestled along the banks of Lake Chiemsee. Take the boat on the biggest and prettiest lake in Bavaria to the island Herrenchiemsee. Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful Herrenchiemsee Castle built by the famous King Lugwig II.In the afternoon, cross the Austrian border and proceed to Salzburg. Walk through the countless narrow streets and famous squares in the Old Town to soak up the distinctive Salzburg atmosphere. Make a photo stop at No 9 Getreidegasse, the house where Wolfgand Amadeus Mozart was born. Stroll through the beautiful Mirabelle Gardens which won everlasting fame with thanks to the musical film ‘The Sound of Music’. (Breakfast / Dinner)
| | Day 4 | SALZBURG – BERCHTESGADEN – INNSBRUCK | Explore the 500 year-old underground Salt Mines on an electric railway system and in traditional miner’s clothing. Visit to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds presents a sensual journey through the flittering labyrinth where the boundaries between dream and reality are truly blurred. (Closed from 9-20November 2009). Continue to the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck. Start our tour at the charming Old Town of Innsbruck, where the city’s greatest tourist attraction, The Little Golden Roof, stands. Nearby is the Helbling House, an outstanding example of bourgeois grandeur richly decorated with stuccos. (Breakfast / Dinner)
| | Day 5 | INNSBRUCK – GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN | Travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany where we experience Mother Nature at her best. Ascend 2962m by cable car to the ‘Top of Germany’, Zugspitze. Admire the breathtaking alpine panorama with a 4-county view of Austrian, Germany, Italy & Switzerland. Proceed to Oberammergau which is famous for frescoes of traditional Bavarian themes, fairy tales or religious scenes found on many homes and buildings. (Breakfast / Dinner)
| | Day 6 | GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN – FUSSEN – BLACK FOREST REGION | Continue to Fussen to visit ‘Mad King’ Lugwig’s fairy tale castle – Neuschwanstein Castle where the interior is as whimsical as the exterior. Drive to the beautiful resort of Titisee in the Black Forest Region. Discover the hideaway of the cuckoo in a clock-making demonstration. (Breakfast / Dinner)
| | Day 7 | BLACK FOREST REGION – HEIDELBURG – ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER | roceed to Heidelberg, home to the oldest university in Germany. Explore Old Town on the south bank of the Neckar River. Cross the Bridge Gate to enjoy the views of the river and the ruins of Heidelberg Castle. Drive to the best preserved medieval town in Germany, Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is also one of the most visited on the Romantic Road of Germany. Enjoy a walking tour around the well preserved medieval walls to the see Markus & White Towers and the fairy-tale like Town Square. View the city’s largest St Jakob’s Church with its impressive twin towers. (Breakfast/Dinner)
| | Day 8 | ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER – MUNICH | Enjoy a leisure drive back to Munich where the rest of the day is at leisure. Why not visit the BMW Museum which presents more than 90 years of BMW heritage in all its facets or shop in Marienplatz? In the evening, visit Hofbrauhaus, the world’s most famous beer hall for an enjoyable evening of Bavarian food, music and dances! (Breakfast / Bavarian Dinner & Show)
| | Day 9 | MUNICH – SINGAPORE | Bid farewell to the Munich as we transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore. We hope that you have had an enjoyable vacation with Dynasty Travel and look forward to bring you to your next holiday destination. (Breakfast)
