Itinerary
| Day 1 | SINGAPORE – FRANKFURT | Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Frankfurt, the financial hub of Germany.
| | Day 2 | FRANKFURT – ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER – MUNICH | Begin our journey on Germany’s Romantic Road from Frankfurt. This medieval trade route which still retains much of its charms winds through the countryside connecting walled towns and picturesque villages. Make a stop at the best preserved & most visited medieval town, Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Enjoy a walking tour around the well preserved medieval walls to see the Markus & White Towers and the fairy-tale like Town Square. Continue to Munich for an orientation tour. Enjoy the bustle of the Viktualienmarkt, an open air market full of little stores selling wursts, fruits, flowers & cheese. Admire the spires of the Gothic style City Hall, onion-shaped domes of the Frauenkirche and the unique architecture of the Olympic Park. (Dinner)
| | Day 3 | MUNICH – FUSSEN – LUCERENE | Drive to Fussen which marks the end of the Romantic Road for a visit to ‘Mad King’ Lugwig’s fairy tale castle – Neuschwanstein Castle where the interior is as whimsical as the exterior. Drive through the scenic countryside to Lucerne in central Switzerland. Our walking tour starts at the wooden 14th-century Chapel Bridge. Make a photo stop at the Lion Monument, dedicated to Swiss guards who died during the French Revolution. Visit Bucherer, Switzerland’s leading watch & gemstone retailer to marvel at the Aion, the world’s largest indoor rolling ball clock and of course, purchase an authentic Swiss souvenir.

| | Day 4 | LUCERNE | Day at leisure. Why not visit Mt Titlis (optional) on the world’s first revolving cable car, enjoy a leisure stroll along the shores of Lake Lucerne or explore the charming medieval old town? (Breakfast
| | Day 5 | LUCERNE – COLMAR – STRASBOURG | Travel to Colmar, the famous wine centre of the Alsace Region in France. Stroll through the alleys and be charmed by the colourful houses and lively atmosphere of the city. End the tour with a visit to Petite Venice and the Fishmonger’s District. Continue to Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace & the seat of the European Parliament. Start our walking tour in the ancient heart of the city on the Grande Ile. Visit the gothic pink sandstone Cathedral with its soaring spire and the famed astronomical clock. Cross Place Gutenberg, named after Johannes Gutenberg, famed for his development of print. Admire the stunningly picturesque Petite France, Strasbourg’s medieval old town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site notable for its half-timbered houses along the canals. Cross the Ponts Couverts, roofed wooden footbridges, with their three 13th century defensive towers to admire the charming sights of the River Ill and the Barrage Vauban. Enjoy a typical Alsacian dinner this evening. (Breakfast/Dinner)
| | Day 6 | STRASBOURG – LUXEMBOURG – CHAMPAGNE REGION | Depart for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Travel back in time as we witness 1,000 years of history during our walking tour. Admire spectacular panoramic views of both the river valleys and the lower town rich with quaint cobblestone streets at the Chemin de la Corniche, also known as ‘Europe’s most beautiful balcony’. Explore the Old Town which showcases the culture and history of this rich city. Drive back to France and spend the night in the Champagne Region, best known as the home of the sparkling white wine. | | Day 7 | CHAMPAGNE REGION – PARIS | Drive through Champagne vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see over the rolling hillsides dotted with picturesque village as we make our way to Paris. Our guided tour of the renowned city includes driving through the city to see the Arc De Triomphe, Place de La Concorde, Garnier Opera House, Champs Elysees, La Invalides and Louvre Museum. Make a stop at the 2nd level of the famous Eiffel Tower, built for the exhibition of 1889, for panoramic views of Paris. For the evening, an optional “Illumination Night Tour’ is perhaps the way to see why Paris is known as the ‘City of Lights’.

| | Day 8 | PARIS | Enjoy a day at leisure. Spend time exploring its many shopping districts or visit Disneyland Paris, cruise along River Seine or perhaps go for a cabaret show in the evening.

| | Day 9 | PARIS – BRUSSELS – AMSTERDAM | Enjoy a leisurely drive to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and home to the European Union & European Commission. Stop at the Atomium, a unique structure forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. View the regal Royal Palace before we drive into the city centre. Visit the cheeky Manneken Pis and be awed by the splendour of Grand Place. Spend some time buying delicious Belgian chocolates or delicate laces. Then, it is off to Amsterdam, the City of Diamonds. In the evening, you may like to explore the bustling nightlife in Amsterdam. (Breakfast/Dinner)
| | Day 10 | AMSTERDAM | Our Amsterdam sightseeing begins with a drive to Dam Square. See the Royal Palace, New Church and the National Monument before boarding the glass-doomed waterbus for a canal cruise. Glide past stately canal houses, colourful houseboats, the seven arched bridges, the Dutch East Indies Company replica ship and much more. End the cruise at a diamond-cutting factory. Visit Zaanse Schans, a traditional Holland Village to witness clog-making, cheese-making and the windmills. Embrace the glorious colours of spring at Keukenhof where millions of bulbs in flower form fantastic flower shows and sculptures (visits only valid 18March to 16 May 2010). (Breakfast / Lunch)
