• Yading Scenic Area (Includes eco-bus and electric car ride from Conggu Temple to Luorong Cow Farm) – 130km to the Southeast of Daocheng, the main part of the mountain is separated completely into three close parts, forming the chinese character "品", thus they are known as the three holy mountains. The scenery’s pure beauty is so rare that it is almost extinct on Earth, hence it is also regarded as "the last piece of unpolluted land on Earth". The main scenic spots are the three mountains, as well as Mengzi Grand Canyon, Echu mountain, and Axi mountain park etcetera. The three holy mountains are the Xiannairi (Goddess of Mercy), the Yangmaiyong and the Xianuoduoji respectively.

• Conggu Temple - located at the foot of Xiannairi mountain with an altitude of 3880m, it is unsure when the temple was built. The temple has been severely destroyed, and a stretch of crumbling walls are its only remainders. However, it is a definite place to pass in order to visit the three "holy" mountains, and it is also the starting point of the Zhuanshan ceremony of the local Tibetans. Other than that, in front of the Conggu Temple is the beautiful Conggu Grasslands, and from there you can admire the Xiannairi Mountain and Xianuoduoji Mountain at a good angle.

Take the electric car and head to Luorong Cow Farm, driving past the primeval forest, Shengshui Gate, and Five Hundred Luohan

Luorong Cow Farm stands at an altitude of 4150m and is surrounded by three mountains. It is also where nearby villagers graze their herds, as Gongga River runs through the farm, and drifts into creeks in the woods. Herds of cows and sheep enjoy sufficient sunlight, green grass, and clear lakewater here. Near the farm, the village’s and temple's building styles are unique, and here, people admire the nature and coexist with the nature in harmony. They are honest and very welcoming people, hence this place is said to be where the last Shangri-la lies.

Walk towards the Pearl Sea – In Tibetan language, it is known as “Domaratso”, formed by the melted ice and snow from Xiannairi, and has an area of about 0.1 square kilometres. The Pearl Sea looks like an emerald inlaid on a throne of lotus in the dense forest, the blue waves on the water ripples and sparkles under the light, revealing infinite beauty. In Spring, azaleas surrounding the lake blooms, and in Autumn, the trees take on a new colour, and the scenery here is ever-changing and colourful.

View Sanhuzhu Snow Mountain from afar

Note: For the physically fit, you may ride horses on own expenses or walk towards the Milk Sea, Five Colour Sea.

Breakfast

• Zunsheng Talin (White Pagoda) – It is said that when Shakyamuni went through nirvana, many dependents prayed for longevity for Shakyamuni, hence Buddha asked for Zunsheng Pagoda to be built and personally blessed it, to represent Shakyamuni.

Head to Xindu Bridge (Visit Photographer’s Heaven Observation Deck) – Magical lighting, endless grassland, gushing streams and poplar trees that change colours with the seasons dot the scenery. The mountains seem to be never-ending, and animals graze peacefully on the grasslands, depicting a scene of tranquil beauty.

• Tagong Temple – In Tibetan language, Tagong means “the place Buddha likes”, and the temple is one of the famous Sajia temples of Tibetan Buddhism. It is also known as the “Small Jokhang Temple”, one of the holy grounds that Kangba Tibetans pray at.

View Muya Golden Pagoda from afar

Drive past Tagong Temple Grasslands, and view Suopo Watchtower from afar

Danba Jiaju Tibetan Village + Home Visit – The whole Tibetan village is built according to the rise and fall of the mountains, with relative differences in altitude of nearly 1000m, some Tibetan houses are scattered amongst the lush forest, while some are clustered together. They are located on cliffs or between rivers, surrounded by clouds, giving an ethereal feel to the whole village. With its clear rushing streams and snowy peaks, the village has presented a rural landscape in the form of an artwork, and is nominated as the most beautiful village in China.

The 3D arrangement of the plants and unique shape of the ridges gives the valley many brilliant sceneries, such as the Wuse Mountain.

• Changping Valley (Includes electric car) – Within the scenic area, there is Gubaiyou Path, Lama Temple, Ganhaizi, and a waterfall with a height of tens of meters, along with many uniquely-shaped stones. In Spring, mountain flowers and rape flowers bloom, and in Autumn, red birch and red maple trees blossom. The old cypress trees are still lush green, the waterfall gushes loudly and an ancient road still runs through the dense forest.
