  • Meet and transfer to the Giza Plateau, home to iconic Egyptian monuments, including the 3 tall pyramids built as royal mausoleums around the 26th century B.C.
  • Visit the Great Pyramids (outside only) and the Sphinx, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human.
  • Enjoy Camel Riding.
  • Visit Salahdin Citadel, the medieval fortification and Mosque of Mohammed Ali.

  • Embark on a tour of Aswan
  • Visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk in the Granite Quarry
  • Take a boat ride to Agilika Island and visit the Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus
  • Check in to hotel for dinner and the night

  • Set sail and arrive Kom-Ombo in the morning
  • After breakfast, disembark and visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo which is dedicated to the crocodile and falcon  Gods, Sobek and Haroeris

  • Disembark at Edfu and visit the best preserved temple in the whole of Egypt- The Temple of Horus, dedicated to Horus, the falcon headed god

  • In the morning, visit the West Bank of the Nile, the Necropolis of ancient Thebes
  • Visit the tombs of some great kings at the Valley of the Kings
  • Visit The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru (“holy of holies”). Queen. Hatshepsut initially ruled as regent for her step-son Thuthmosis III but she promoted herself to the role of pharaoh instead of passing power to him when he came of age. Her temple is one of the most striking monuments in ancient Egypt even in this semi-ruined state.
  • Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. For 3,400 years they have sat in the Theban necropolis, across the River Nile from the city of Luxor, stand guarding at the entrance to Amenhotep’s memorial temple.
  • Afternoon explore the East Bank of the Nile, one of world’s largest open air museums
  • Visit the 2 most important temples of Luxor (ancient Thebes) - The Luxor Temple and The Temple of Karnak, the cult temple dedicated to Amun, Mut and Khonsu and the largest religious building ever constructed covering about 200 acres and was a place of pilgrimage for nearly 2,000 years. The Hypostyle hall, at 5000 sq metres and featuring 134 columns, is still the largest room of any religious building in the world.

  • Get ready for some adventure in the desert.
  • Set off in a land cruiser and drive into the desert to visit the home of the Bedouins and learn about their daily life and traditions.
  • The rest of the day is free at leisure.  You can choose to rest and relax in the beach or poolside or perhaps pick up some optional tours to explore the marine life of Red Sea.
  • Dinner and overnight in Hurghada.

  • Catch a domestic flight back to Cairo
  • Depart for Alexandria, Egypt’s second largest city well known as “The Pearl of the Mediterranean”. (Approximately 3 hours’ drive).

  • Visit the Citadel of QaitBay, where one of the ancient wonders of the world, the famous Lighthouse of the Pharos once stood
  • Picture stop outside Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque.
  • Visit the Roman Amphitheatre, Pompey’s Pillar and the Seapuem, ruins of an acropolis erected in honour of Serapis an Egyptian God.
  • Check in hotel for dinner and the night.

  • Visit the New Alexandria Library - Bibliotheca Alexandrina. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. A copy of every book published in the world is kept in the library, making it one of the great literary sites in the world (Close on Fridays).
  • Visit Catacombs of Kom El Shuqqafa.
  • Return to Cairo for dinner and the night

  • Drive to Saqqara, the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis.
  • Visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest stone structure known to man, dating back to 2600 BC.
  • Visit the ancient capital city of Memphis and explore the ruins of the Pharaonic city including a huge fallen image of King Ramses II.
  • Return to Cairo city.
  • Visit Khan el-Khalili, the city’s major souk.  Walk through the narrow lanes filled with coffeehouses and countless souvenir shops.  Some free time for shopping before checking in hotel for dinner and the night.
