  • Roman Theatre.
  • Jordan Folklore Museum.
Breakfast
  • Depart for Madaba, the City of Mosaic.
  • Visit St. George’s Cathedral where the 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land is laid down.
  • Continue to Mount Nebo, the alleged burial place of Moses.
  • Enjoy the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and River Jordan.
  • Visit the old church on top of the mountain with well-preserved large pieces of Mosaic that dates back to the Byzantine era.
  • Drive further southward to Petra for dinner and the night.
Breakfast
  • Petra was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom from the 4th century BC to the 2nd century AD. From the 12th century until its rediscovery in 1812, Petra was lost to the world - a closely guarded secret of the local tribes. Today, the ‘rose red city half as old as time’ is probably the most impressive archaeological site in the Middle East, rivalling the temples and pyramids of Egypt in grandeur.
  • Enjoy a full day tour exploring and walking through the hidden valley of Petra.
  • Walk through the “Siq”, a narrow passage in the gorge between towering rocks till you come to the end of the Siq.
  • Visit the icon of Petra, The Treasury (El Kazneh), a graceful structure carved from the living rock.
  • Continue to explore the valley where the sandstone swirls and twists in shades of red, orange, yellow, pink and white.
  • Visit the Roman Amphitheatre, carved directly out of the mountain, with space for over 3,000 spectators.
  • See the elaborate Royal Tombs, including the Palace Tomb and Silk Tomb.
  • After a short rest at a local Bedouin café, take the same way back to the tourist centre.
  • Return to hotel for dinner and the night.

*Note: Comfortable walking shoes, drinking water intake and sun protection is required. During winter months, a warm coat is necessary. You can take a short horse-ride to the entrance of the Siq but the rest of the tour will be by foot. There are horse carriages operated by local Bedouins (own expenses) if you choose not to walk through the siq. Late lunch is expected on this day.

Breakfast
  • Depart south to Wadi Rum, the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscapes.
  • Join the local Bedouins in their jeep (or local vehicle) to explore the desert where the sand is red and the rocks look like gigantic multi-layered chocolate cakes melting in the setting sun.
  • After lunch, return to Amman for dinner and the night.
Breakfast
  • Proceed to cross the Israelis-Jordanian border at Allenbey Bridge.
  • Enter Israel and carry on to the baptism site in Yardenit before heading to Tiberius for dinner and the night.
Breakfast
  • Start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and be greeted by happy flocks of sea gulls.
  • Depart to the North of the Sea of Galilee to the Mount of Beatitudes. Visit the beautiful church with an octagonal dome that represents the 8 “Beatitudes” of the sermon that Jesus Christ blessed his disciples with 2000 years ago.
  • Continue to Tabgha where the two old churches built on ancient ruins of Jewish villages commemorate the miracles of Jesus Christ who fed 5000 starving people with 2 fishes and 5 loaves, cured lepers and opened blind eyes.
  • Visit the Church of Multiplication.
  • Move on to visit the 2nd century Synagogue in Capernaum.
  • Enjoy St Peter Fish lunch.
  • Drive to Golan Heights and stop at Mount Bental to view the Israel & Syria border.
  • Visit a local winery; the high altitude of Golan Heights provides prime growing conditions for a wide variety of grapes.
Breakfast
  • Depart Tiberias via Cana of Galilee to Nazareth. This small Jewish village became one of the most well-known and sacred places in the world as according to the Christian tradition.
  • Here, the Angel Gabriel announced to the young Mary that she was carrying the son of God.
