Welcome to a unique experience!

  • Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for our flight to Luang Prabang.
  • Phousi Hill – to enjoy the view overlooking the city and watch the amazing sunset*.

  • In the morning, head out to a local farm outside Luang Prabang to experience the local methods of rice cultivation. After an overview presented by a small rice museum, you will learn how rice is farmed using water buffalo for plowing, together with the traditional manual processes of ranking, transplanting, sowing, grinding, and pounding.
  • After lunch, you can go for a stroll around this quaint town or even join some locals for a game of petanque; there is always someone ready to show you how to play! It is great fun and a good way to get to know the Lao people.

  • Wat Sen (city’s oldest temple).
  • Wat Xieng Thong – one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.
  • Mekong River boat ride.
  • Visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves - two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
  • Next stop visit village of Ban Xanghai - where the local rice wine is distilled.
  • Ban Xang Khong - a village well known for silk hand weaving and for traditional Saa Paper making.
  • Continue to Ban Phanom – a village known for its hand weaving
  • After dinner, free time for you to visit the Luang Prabang night market or to explore this historical city.

  • At dawn, you may wish to experience alms offering to a thousand monks along the streets. This tradition is unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the rituals.
  • Phousi Local Morning Market.
  • Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun.
  • Royal Palace Museum.
  • We will also visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Na Ouane and Ban Thapene.
  • Excursion to Khuangsi Waterfall – the biggest waterfall in the Luang Prabang.

  • Big goodbye to Luang Prabang and journey through the wonderful natural scenery to Vang Vieng
  • Enjoy sunset on Namsong River (If time permits)

  • Visit Tham Jang Cave – the cave was used as a bunker in the early 19th century during the Chinese-Ho invasion. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, a very pleasant village where we can explore the different lifestyle of the locals.
  • Blue Lagoon - Best little swimming hole, the Blue Lagoon, where a river of soft, delicately pale blue flows slowly out of the jungle, deepening in the middle to create a perfect place to swim in during those hot afternoons.
  • Tham Phoukham Caves – seeing the most beautiful and famous limestone cavern, surrounded by natural forest.

  • Ban Keun Salt Works – the small village of Ban Keun in Laos has a massive salt production plant.
  • Wat Si Saket – the oldest temple in Vientiane. Features remarkable frescoes and Buddha images
  • Haw Prakeo – the former royal temple of Laos monarchy, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Statue.
  • That Luang Stupa - is a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of Vientiane, Laos.
  • Patuxay Monument - is a war monument in the centre of Vientiane, Laos, which was built between 1957 and 1968.

  • Bid farewell to Laos as we transfer to Vientiane airport for our flight back to Singapore
