  • Te Papa Tongarewa Museum - The National Museum of New Zealand, offers an authentic experience of the country treasures and stories. You will also have the opportunity to visit the ground breaking exhibition that tells the story of the Gallipoli campaign in World War I (Exhibition until April 2022)
  • Weta Caves + Workshop Experience – The Weta Cave is the hub of Weta’s movie tour in Wellington. It’s a movie lover’s showcase of props, costumes, models and weapons. You can also experience the main stages of production. Using images and examples from the Workshop, the guide will give you the hands on experience with chainmaille, prop casts and silicone prosthetics with examples from the famous movies like Lords of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia and many more
  • Afternoon will be free at leisure to explore Wellington, wander along Wellington waterfront to soak up the views, check out the sculptures or enjoy a locally made gelato. You can also visit Hannahs Laneway, which is home to artisan food producers, eateries and craft beer brew bars, this little laneway is a foodie haven too

  • Interislander Ferry –  The 92km, 3hr journey between Wellington and Picton is one of New Zealand’s most iconic tourist experiences and it is also known as one of the most spectacular cruises in the world.
  • Upon arrival, free time to explore the beautiful port town - Picton
  • After lunch, continue our journey to Marlborough’s main town – Blenheim, where there’s an abundance of vineyard and cellar surrounding her
  • Blenheim is situated in the heart of wine-growing Marlborough. It is one of the sunniest towns in New Zealand, with an estimated average of 2,438 hours of sunshine a year
  • Cloudy Bay Vineyard – Established in 1985, Cloudy Bay was one of the first five wine makers to venture into Marlborough region. Wine tasting is at passengers own expense

  • Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre – Which bring to life the heroes of World War One and World War II aviation with an unparalleled collection and dramatic life like scenes. Visit the ‘Knights of the Sky’ exhibition as it comprises one of the world’s largest collections of World War One aircrafts and rare memorabilia. Next, will be ‘Dangerous Skies’ which is the newest exhibition that features stories from World War II
  • Wither Hill Cellar Door – Go on the Vine to Wine tour, where it will take you on a journey from the vineyard to the bottle. Go on guided tour through the Vine Library, learning about thirty different grape varieties grown on site. Next, Introduction to viticulture and wine-making processes that allow us to capture the distinct flavours of Wither Hills and lastly some wine tasting of wines from the Wairau Valley range
  • Makana Boutique Chocolate Factory and Retail Shop - Watch how chocolates are made, taste a few samples and, of course, shop for delicious chocolates
  • Free time to explore the many cafes, galleries and shop in Blenheim

  • Start our journey south towards Kaikoura, the whale watching capital of New Zealand
  • Kaikoura Whale Watch Cruise* – Go on an exciting cruise ride where you can get up-close encounter with the world’s largest toothed predator the Giant Sperm Whale in their natural environment at all times of the year. A typical Whale Watch tour may encounter New Zealand Fur Seals, pods of Dusky Dolphins and the endangered Wandering Albatross. Depending on the season you may also see migrating Humpback Whales, Pilot Whales, Blue Whales and Southern Right Whales *Weather permitting only. Children under 3years of age is NOT allow on the tour
  • Free time to explore Kaikoura village
  • Arrival into Christchurch – “The Garden City of New Zealand”

  • Christchurch City Sightseeing – Take in the sights of the central city and its surrounds and see how this beautiful city is recovering from the devastating 2011 earthquake. You will view some of the areas affected by the earthquakes, see how Christchurch is preserving some of its iconic heritage buildings and learn about the latest plans for restoration of the inner city. Visit Mona Vale, one of Christchurch's most spectacular gardens. Take a leisurely stroll around the park and see why Christchurch is known as 'the Garden City'
  • Farmer’s Corner – Quick stopover to see the South American Alpaca, there are currently 10 alpaca that you can have a unique up close interaction with these wonderful animals. Beside the alpaca there is also opportunity to do some last min shopping for some local products
  • Journey down to Lake Tekapo - Located in the heart of the Mackenzie District in Canterbury. The lake is a spectacular turquoise colour due to finely ground rock in the glacial melted waters
  • The Church of the Good Shepherd – which is situated on the shores of Lake Tekapo amongst the natural beauty of the lake and the mountains.
  • Bronze Sheepdog - Close to the Church of the Good Shepherd is a well-known bronze statue of a NZ Collie sheepdog
  • Dark Sky Project – Crater Experience at Cowan’s Private Observatory* – View some of the best skies in the world from within Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve, the largest Dark Sky Reserve in the world. The highly enthusiastic guides will tour you through the southern night skies sharing from their vast well of knowledge on subjects from the basics of astronomy to some of the more mind boggling science of outer space

*This tour is weather dependable, in the event of cloudy or raining night, the tour will be cancelled

*Due to safety reason children under the age of 5 years is NOT allow to join the Mt Cowan’s Observatory Tour 

*As the tour is conducted after dark, please make sure that you dress up warmly especially during winter months

  • Lake Pukaki – Is the largest lake in the Mackenzie District, from here you will be able to see New Zealand’s tallest peak, Aoraki/ Mount Cook
  • Time will also be available for those passengers that wish to join optional Helicopter flight for a closer view of Mount Cook and its surrounding peaks.
  • Today lunch will be at The Alpine Restaurant located at Mt Cook National Park, enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch accompanied by spectacular views of Aoraki/Mt Cook
  • After lunch, stop at High Country Salmon Farm, hand feed the salmon fish, chance to taste fresh salmon sashimi too (own expenses)
  • Mrs Jones Fruit Orchard – New Zealand’s fruits paradise, sample and buy great variety of fresh or dried fruits, nuts and honey. If time permits, wander through their beautiful English style rose gardens too
  • Arrival into Queenstown – The Adventure Capital of the World which is surrounded by majestic mountains and set on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu

  • Visit the Historic Arrowtown, a delightful gold rush village nestled below the beautiful peaks that surround the sparkling Arrow River
  • Kawarau Bridge Bungy Centre – This is the 'World Home of Bungy’ This will be the opportunity to experience bungy jump*. For those not jumping, there is the purpose built viewing decks that provide a safe and enjoyable area to witness the beautiful scenery and people doing the bungy jump.  *Bungy jump will be at passengers own expense
  • TSS Earnslaw Steamship Cruise* + Walter Peak Farm Tours – Take a cruise on Lake Wakatipu aboard the iconic steamship the TSS Earnslaw. The cruise across the lake showcases some of Queenstown’s spectacular alpine scenery. Upon arrival, go to the shearing shed where you can watch the farm dogs rounding up sheep from the hill paddocks, and see the farmer shear a sheep. After that proceed over to the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant for a quintessential Kiwi experience – a delicious gourmet BBQ lunch. After lunch if time permits, you can also explore the beautiful gardens before boarding the TSS Earnslaw for your cruise back to Queenstown *The TSS Earnslaw is under maintenance for a short time period during winter each year (planned for early June - early July 2020). During this period travel to Walter Peak is by a smaller motorised boat
  • The afternoon will be free at leisure to explore Queenstown

  • Arrival, we will start our journey down to Rotorua - The heartland of New Zealand’s Maori Culture as well as bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers and natural hot springs
  • Short stopover at the township of Tirau – a well-known tourist stop made famous by the many arts work created out of corrugated iron
  • Skyline Rotorua – Take a leisurely uphill Gondola ride up to Mt Ngongotaha for a panoramic view of Rotorua. Enjoy an sumptuous buffet dinner @ Skyline’s Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar, featuring a stunning array of freshly prepared buffet and cooked-to-order dishes highlighting local seafood, meat and produce

  • Agrodome Farm Tour – Go on the tractor drawn trailer around the farm. See sheep, cows, llama, highland cattle, angora, goats, deer, emus, alpaca and ostrich in a real farm environment. Visit the kiwifruit orchard, the olive grove and feijoa orchard. Along the way take a break at the education centre for tasting of kiwifruit juice and honey
  • Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park – Home to a huge variety of New Zealand’s most precious inhabitants including the rare Kiwi.  Feed the trout and observe them from the underwater viewing area
  • Te Puia: Is home to the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Insitute and the world famous Pohutu geyser. See the boiling mud pools, native bush and the National Schools of Wood Carving and Weaving
  • Te Po (Indigenous Evening Experience): It is a feast of storytelling, entertainment and Maori cuisine. Experience the customs and traditions of Maori, with a traditional powhiri, a warrior’s challenge and a full kappa haka concert. Enjoy traditional hangi cooked food and Maori dishes. After dinner you will board the waka for a journey through the valley under lights. Be awed by the magical evening sights of the geothermal valley. Marvel at the sight of this glorious natural wonder, while your guide entertains you with traditional Māori mythology and stories
