  • Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Copenhagen, Denmark’s fun loving capital.

 

  • Copenhagen guided tour: Our sightseeing tour features the Old Stock Exchange, the National Museum and the Rosenborg, Amalienborg & Christianborg Palaces.   Make a photo stop at the famous Little Mermaid Statue & Hans Christian Andersen Statue before we proceed to Nyhavn, the old sailors’ quarters converted into colourful cafes, bars & jazz clubs.
  • Spend some free time in the afternoon at Stroget, the famous pedestrian street.

 

  • Enjoy the day at leisure.

 

Breakfast

 

  • Travel to Roskilde, an ancient city dating from the Viking age.
  • Visit the Viking Ship Museum, home to the wrecks of five original Viking ships excavated in the Roskilde Fjord.
  • Next, visit the Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO Heritage Site.  This is where Danish Kings and queens have been buried for a thousand years.  (Note: Limited access during ceremonies.)
  • Transfer to the airport for our flight to Bergen, the gateway to the Norwegian Fjords.

  • Bergen walking tour: Spend time walking along the Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; enjoy views of the 13th century Haakons Hall and the bustling Fish Market, the largest in Scandinavia
  • Cross the splendid Hardangerfjord to Lofthus.  Delight in breathtaking views toward the Hardangervidda Mountain plains and the Folgefonna Glacier.

  • Make a photo stop at Voringfoss.
  • Travel to Myrdal where we board the renowned Flam Railway to Flam.
  • Witness some of the world’s most scenic wilderness as we ascend 3000 feet, passing through mighty waterfalls, towering mountains and amazing valleys.

  • Head into the depth of the Norwegian Fjordland, a wonderful world of soaring mountains, icy glaciers and rivers.
  • Make a photo stop at the Jostedal Glacier National Park.
  • Cruise the spectacular Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for some the best fjord sceneries in Norway.
  • Spend the night in Geiranger, a remote village with a superb setting overlooking the Geiranger Fjords and mountains.

  • Drive down the famous Serpentine Road on our way to Lom where we stop to view its renowned 14th century Stave Church.
  • Continue through Gudbrandsdal Valley to Lillehammer, home to the 1994 Winter Olympics.
  • Stop at the Olympic Resort for panoramic views of Lake Mjosa, the biggest in Norway.

 

Breakfast

 

  • Continue to the capital of Norway, Oslo.
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Oslo. Stroll through Vigeland Sculpture Park with its extraordinary bronze and granite life size sculptures.
  • Make a photo stop at the venue of 2011 Nordic Skiing World Championships, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump for a spectacular view of the Oslofjord.
  • Board our coach for a journey of forests and lakes to the Hallindal Valley.
  • Cross the border into Karlstad, Sweden, beside Europe’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Vanern, for the night.
Breakfast
  • Drive to Lake Malaren.  Make a photo stop at the Gripsholm Castle which towers over the idyllic small town of Mariefred in Sodermanland.
  • Continue to Stockholm, the capital of Stockholm which owes its beauty to its unique setting on fourteen islands between Lake Malar and the Baltic.

  • Stockholm guided city tour: Visit the City Hall where the Nobel Prize banquets are held in the Blue and Gold Halls (entrance included) and the 700 year-old Cathedral.  Stroll through the Gamla Stan to bask in the medieval atmosphere of the old town. Make a photo stop at the world’s biggest Royal Palace still used by a head of state.

  • Bid farewell to Scandinavia and transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore after breakfast.
