Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Dusseldorf, the modern and vibrant capital of Germany’s North Rhine Westphalia state.

  • After immigration procedures, proceed to the Dusseldorf Old Town.
  • Stroll through picturesque lanes and experience history coming to life.  Learn about the twisted tower of St Lambertus Church, the story behind the Rider statue and the birthplace of famous German poet Heinrich Heine.  The Burgplatz with the Schlossturm holds great charm.  A stone’s throw away is the Rhine embankment promenade – offering a stunning view of Dusseldorf’s skyline and the Oberkassel Rhine banks.
  • Drive to Duisburg, home to the world’s largest in-land port and Germany’s largest steel producer.
  • Make a stop at Tiger & Turtle – Magic Mountain, an art installation built in 2011 made out of tin, zinc and steel left over from mining operations.  The 21-metre high sculpture resembles a roller coaster with stairs that allows visitors to climb up 249 steps, if weather permits.
  • Continue to Bremen, formerly a city of the Hanseatic League.
Dinner

  • Bremen walking tour:  The Town Hall with its Renaissance architecture is a UNESCO World heritage Site and certainly is one of the finest in Europe.  The statue of Knight Roland, a protector of trade is also on the UNESCO Heritage list.  See the famous bronze display of the Bremen Town Musicians on the west of the Town Hall.  Stroll on Boettcherstrasse, an incredible Art Nouveau street that runs from the main square towards the river.
  • Travel to Hamelin where we can relive the folktale about the Pied Piper.
  • Enjoy a ‘Pied Piper’ guided tour bringing us to historic locals and famous spots evolved around the fairy tale.

  • Drive to Kassel, the heart of the fairy tale route.  The Brothers Grimm spent more than 30 years in the city and revised more than 200 fairy tales as well as numerous legends to create a unique cultural treasure.
