Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Zurich, the financial hub of Switzerland. 

 

  • Hear the roar of water crashing to the rocks below as we approach Europe’s largest waterfalls, the Rhine Falls located in Schaffhausen.
  • Travel to Stein am Rhein located in the beautiful countryside along Lake Constance where the lake becomes the Rhine River again.
  • Enjoy a stroll in Rathausplatz where colourful mural facades delight the eyes.
  • Drive through the scenic countryside to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities.
  • Lucerne walking tour: Admire the 14th-century wooden Chapel Bridge.  Make a photo stop at the Lion Monument, dedicated to Swiss guards who died during the French Revolution.

 

  • Drive to Engelberg where we board a series of cable cars to ascend Mt Titlis.  Travel on the new full-glass revolving cable car, Rotair, to the summit 10,000 feet above sea level.  Enjoy the breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains on Europe’s highest suspension bridge, The Titlis Cliff Walk. Visit the snow park to try out some fun winter activities such as snowtubes, minibobs and balancers.   (Alternate mountain excursion arranged during maintenance 5-16 November’18 and inclement weather).

  • An exciting day ahead as we make our way to the world capital of the watch-making industry, La Chaux-de-Fonds.
  • Admire the chess board design cityscape, designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site, created at the beginning of the 19th century.
  • Enjoy an exciting journey through time with a visit to the International Watch and Clock Museum.  Admire the skill of craftsmen restoring ancient pieces in the workshop or participate in little experiments.
  • Drive past factories where thousands of people have worked for nearly 300 years inventing extra features, precision and more beautiful watches.
  • Continue to Geneva, one of the world’s major centers of international diplomacy, for an orientation tour.

  • : View the symbol of Geneva, the Jet d’Eau, a fountain with a 140m water jet in Lake Geneva.  Make a photo stop at the large Flower Clock, a symbol of the Geneva watch industry, in the English Garden.

  • Admire the wine terraces of Lavaux, a UNESCO Heritage Site as we make our way to the Valais resort of Zermatt, one of Switzerland’s most famous holiday resorts.
  • Zermatt is best known as a platform for skiing and mountaineering as it is surrounded by a range of fabulous mountains, among which the highest of Switzerland, Monte Rosa and the famous Matterhorn.
  • Next, proceed to Riederalp at the heart of the Aletsch Arena which sits almost two thousand meters above sea level.  The car-free resort offers an impressive panoramic view of the peaks of the Valais Alps including Matterhorn and Dom. (Alternative accommodation in the Valais Region in event of road closure).

  • A short walk to the cableway station brings us up to the view point of the Aletsch Glacier, the first UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in the Alps.  The majestic Aletsch Glacier is the biggest and most powerful glacier in the Alps at 23 kilometers long.
  • Upon descend enjoy some sledging fun before leaving this spectacular mountain for another Swiss specialty – chocolates!
  • Embark on an indulgent journey through the history, traditions and art of chocolate-making of Switzerland’s oldest chocolate brand – Cailler.
  • Continue to the charming resort of Interlaken, located between 2 sparkling lakes beneath the towering Jungfrau in the Bernese Oberland.

  • Suggested optional tour: Enjoy a tour on the unique cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe.

  • Visit the capital of the Swiss Confederation, Bern
  • Explore this charming town dotted with Baroque Fountains, the Astronomical Clock and 6 km of Covered Arcades. Visit the mascot of the city at the Bear Pits on foot.
  • Continue to the largest city and the financial center of Switzerland, Zurich.
  • Zurich orientation tour: Visit the Old Town.  Make a stop at the Fraumunster, Limmat River and view the Grossmunster, the starting point of the Swiss-German Reformation.
  • Drive past the Hauptbahnhof, the main train station, and Bahnhofstrasse, the main shopping areas in Zurich.
