Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to the financial capital of Italy, Milan.

 

  • Milan city tour: Join our guide for an orientation tour around the city centre.  Admire the magnificent Gothic exterior of the Duomo , the glass & steel Galleria, the first building in Italy to be lighted by electricity and the Opera House. Stroll through the compound of the Sforza Castle and be impressed by Leonardo Da Vinci’s design of this fortress and the city.
  • Shop or relax in this vibrant city after the tour.

  • Proceed to Venice which is famous for its numerous churches, maze of canals and floating gondolas.
  • From Tronchetto, board a private water taxi to Venice.
  • Venice walking tour: Enjoy a guided tour around St Mark’s Square where St Mark’s Basilica and the Bell Tower stands, the Bridge of Sighs links the Doges Palace to the prison. Visit one of the fine Venetian Glass Blowing Factories where richly coloured Venetian glass is made into exquisite pieces of art.

  • Look forward to a spectacular day as we drive towards Cinque Terre, an UNESCO World Heritage Site where five perilously-perched villages are strung along a short stretch of cliffs above the Gulf of Poets.
  • Enjoy exploring the old footpaths that lead through olive groves, vineyards and orchards between the villages of  Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza & Monterosso via the regional train.

  • Be charmed by how the woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches and farmhouses as we drive to Tuscany.
  • Transfer to the coastal town of Pisa.
  • Visit the ‘Square of Miracles to appreciate the wonderful artistry of one of the world’s wonder, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.  Admire the white-marble Duomo, the elaborate Baptistery & the symmetrical Monumental Cemetery perfectly framed by the green lawns of the square.
  • Drive to Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance Art.
  • Make a stop at Piazza Michelangelo for a panoramic view of the old town.
  • Florence guided walking tour: Admire Brunelleschi’s masterpiece, the dome of the Duomo as well Ghiberti’s legendary Door of Paradise.    Cross the Ponte Vecchio glittering with its rolls of goldsmiths and jewellery shops before we visit the most important square in the city, Piazza Signoria.
  • In the evening, enjoy a scrumptious Florentine Steak Dinner accompanied by typical Chianti Wine.

  • Enjoy some fantastic savings at a nearby factory outlet mall.
  • Continue to Assisi, a well-preserved medieval town with an air of mystical serenity.
  • Visit the Basilica of St Francis, which holds the crypt of the saint, covered with vivid frescoes by Giotto that depicts his life.  After the visit, take a stroll down the narrow but picturesque streets to the Piazza del Comune, the old town center.

  • Take a leisurely drive to the Sorrento Peninsular, one of the most romantic and beautiful region in Italy.
  • View Mt Vesuvius, the volcano whose eruption in AD79 covered Pompeii and Herculaneum with tufa stone & volcanic mud.
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii to learn about the lifestyle of wealthy Romans.

  • Board the hydrofoil to the island of Capri, once known as the ‘Island of Sin’.
  • View the Faraglioni Rocks, picturesque rock formations off the eastern tip of the island
  • Drive to the ‘Eternal City’, Rome.

  • Vatican City guided tour: Visit the world’s smallest state, Vatican City.  Admire St Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest church with Michelangelo’s Pieta, his magnificent dome, Bernini’s famous canopy as well as the incredible mosaics.  (May close without notice)
  • Rome guided city tour:  Visit the Colosseum (entrance included) before we continue to view the Castle of Angels, Victor Emmanuel II Monument and the Venezia Palace.  An obligatory stop will be made at the Trevi Fountain, Rome’s most photographed site before we adjourn to the Spanish Steps.
  • Suggested optional tour:  Tour of the Vatican Museum (schedule and time permitting)
