Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, enjoy an exterior visit to the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center), iconic landmarks of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Bird's Nest features an innovative nest-like structure, while the Water Cube showcases a unique bubble-inspired design, both representing modern architectural creativity and artistry. Visit the Linglong Tower located within the Olympic Park, known for its distinctive design and intricate carvings, often serving as a sightseeing tower.

DAY 2 BEIJING

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, one of the world's largest public squares, covering an area of approximately 440,000 square meters. Next, explore the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, built in 1420. Covering an area of approximately 720,000 square meters, it houses nearly 1,000 rooms. As the world’s largest and most well-preserved ancient palace complex, the Forbidden City symbolizes China's imperial culture and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 4 BEIJING – TIANJIN - BEIJING

After breakfast, take the high-speed train to Tianjin. Upon arrival, visit the Porcelain House, a unique architectural masterpiece adorned with intricate porcelain tiles and ceramics, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. It is hailed as a "treasure trove of porcelain art" and a must-see for lovers of Chinese art and architecture. Next, stroll along Italian Style Street, a charming commercial district modeled after traditional Italian architecture, featuring romantic streets, elegant European-style buildings, and boutique shops. Continue to Five Great Avenues (Wudadao), a cultural heritage district known for its blend of architectural styles from Britain, France, Italy, and Russia, showcasing the city's cosmopolitan past. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Haihe River and admire a mix of historical and modern architecture. View the Tianjin Eye, a Ferris wheel built over the river, offering stunning views of the cityscape. Thereafter, return to Beijing by coach and check in to the hotel.

DAY 5 BEIJING - GUBEI WATER TOWN

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 and used by emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Known for its magnificent architecture and exquisite gardens, the Temple of Heaven symbolizes ancient Chinese sacrificial culture and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, travel to Gubei Water Town, a scenic town blending northern water village charm with ancient architectural styles. Wander through the old streets, traditional homes, and cultural landmarks, experiencing the tranquility and beauty of the town. Explore sites such as the Simashao Distillery, Yongshun Dyehouse, Yang Wudi Shrine, Zhenyuan Escort Agency, and Mountain Top Church for panoramic views of the town. In the evening, enjoy the Water Dance Performance and a complimentary roasted pear as a special treat.

It offers breathtaking views and is ideal for hiking and exploration. Next, head to the Sanlitun Shopping District in Chaoyang, one of Beijing's most vibrant shopping and entertainment areas. This bustling district features high-end shopping centers, international brand stores, restaurants, and bars, making it a popular hangout for fashion enthusiasts and young people. Explore unique cafes and eateries, perfect for shopping, dining, and leisurely entertainment.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of free time in Beijing. Experience a day in the life of a local Beijinger! You can take the subway to Yonghe Lama Temple, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist temples in China and an important religious and cultural site in Beijing. The temple features impressive architecture, blending Han and Tibetan styles, with numerous exquisite Buddhist statues and artworks. Alternatively, you can stroll through the Confucius Temple, built to honor Confucius, or visit Wudaoying Hutong to sample local Beijing snacks!
