DAY 1 SINGAPORE – NAIROBI

- Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your pleasant flight to Kenya - Nairobi

DAY 2 NAIROBI – LAKE ELMENTEITA
- Welcome to Kenya!
- Upon arrival, we will be met by our Kenya’s driver and guide
- Thereafter, depart for Lake Elementeita (2-2.5hrs). Elmenteita, meaning ‘place of dust’, is a photogenic, little soda lake situated in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Famously attracting many visiting flamingos as well as many other birds, it has been named as a World Heritage Site for its prolific birdlife.
- Check-in to the lodge for our overnight stay and dinner

DAY 3 LAKE ELMENTEITA – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
- This morning, after an early breakfast we will drive to Lakeshore to view the Flamingo before departing for Maasai Mara National Reserve
- Arrive at the Mara Game Reserve, we will check-into our lodge and lunch
- The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. Large prides of lions, herds of elephants, as well as giraffes, gazelles and eland can also be spotted in the reserve.
- Around 1600hrs we will depart for our afternoon game drive
- After the game drive, return to the hotel for our tonight’s dinner

DAY 4 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
- After breakfast depart for a full day game drive in search of the ‘big five’. These include the lion, savannah, elephants, the cape buffalo, the leopard and the black rhino
- Break for lunch at a designated picnic spot
- Continue with our afternoon game drive with a stop at a Masai Village for a cultural experience
- Drive back to the lodge and spend the rest of the evening at leisure

DAY 5 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - NAIROBI
- Begin the day with morning breakfast
- Transfer to airstrip for our flight to Nairobi
- Nairobi - Situated along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa's most cosmopolitan city
- On arrival, we will be met by our driver & guide, transfer for lunch
- After lunch, visit the Nairobi National Museum, which tells the story of Kenya's rich heritage. The museum's mission is to collect, preserve, study, document and present Kenya’s past and present cultural and natural heritage

DAY 6 NAIROBI – KIGALI – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
- After breakfast, depart for Giraffe Centre, which was established to protect the vulnerable giraffe that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa
- Transfer to Jomo Kenyaatta International Airport for our flight to Kigali
- Upon arrival into Kigali, we will be met and welcome by our safari driver who will brief and then drive you to lunch before transferring us to Volcanoes National Park - Bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo in Rwanda, and set high on the jungle-covered slopes of the volcanic Virunga Mountains, the Volcanoes National Park is best known as a sanctuary for the region’s rare mountain gorillas. Visitors flock here to experience face to face encounters with these intriguing creatures. Regulated treks through the reserve allow visitors to spend an hour at a time with these incredible primates in their natural habitat.
- Depart for Musanze the northern province of Rwanda, 2 hours’ drive from Kigali city, a big town around Volcanoes national park. A scenic drive with winding roads and magnificent views of thousands of rolling hills that Rwanda is known for.

DAY 7 VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Golden Monkey Trekking)
- After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for the Golden Monkey trekking briefing
- At 0800hrs, we will start our Golden Monkey trek
- Golden Monkey Tracking offers a unique experience of catching a glimpse of the endangered Golden Monkey. These striking primates with their bright orange fur contrasting the green rainforests of the Virunga Mountains is a photographer’s dream. The Golden Monkey can be found in very few places outside of Volcanoes National Park, and their vibrant colours, energetic demeanor, and sizeable troupes of up to 30 individuals are indeed a sight to behold.
- At 1200hrs, we will return from the jungle
- Today lunch will be at our lodge
- In the afternoon, visit Ellen De Generes Gorilla Fund Museum - explore state-of-the-art exhibits that tell the story of our 55+ years of gorilla conservation
- Dinner will be served at our lodge and overnight stay

DAY 8 VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Gorilla Trekking)
- After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for the Gorilla’s trekking briefing (You will be separated into groups of 8 depending on your physical abilities. Each group is guided by a guide and two scouts who are well trained in emergency situations. The amount of time set aside per trek is different depending on where the gorilla family is situated. Some trips may take as little as half an hour and some taking the better part of the day)
- We will be transferred to the start point of your guided walk that begins at 0800hrs.
- Start the gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hat.
- Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.
- The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, we will return to our lodge to relax, reviewing your pictures and exchanging observations.

DAY 9 VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK – KIGALI
- Begin our day with a morning breakfast
- Check out of our accommodation and drive back to Kigali
- Enjoy our lunch at Kigali
- Visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre - Was created by a partnership of the Kigali City Council and the UK-based Aegis Trust. The centre is an extremely moving, challenging, educational and ultimately inspiring as well as a great place to understand the cause, tragedy and successful rebuilding post-genocide.

- Check out of our hotel and transfer to lunch
- After lunch, we will proceed to Kigali International Airport for our flight back home
